Jim Settembrino | Chief Executive Officer/Chief Residential Officer
Jim is a part of the Executive Team for Supportive concepts for Families, serving as Chief Executive Officer/Chief Residential Officer.
Jim’s primary role is to connect individuals in need with effective services through the development of teams focused on caring support. Jim is also responsible for developing community, day and employment programs across the state of PA. Jim has a master’s degree in Community Mental Health and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He has participated in developing community programs in western PA for over 30 years serving children, adolescents and adults with Intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health disorders and those in recovery. Jim began his career in 1990 as a direct support professional, utilized his education, training and experience to grow in leadership as Executive Director of an agency serving individuals in the community, through residential, community support and employment programs.
In 2017, Jim partnered to develop a new agency from its inception called Our Own Home. Jim served as Chief Executive Officer and was a key contributor to its rapid growth. Our Own Home supported individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Autism, mental illness and/or other mental health needs utilizing very personal, innovative, individualized strategies. Our Own Home merged with Supportive Concepts for Families October 1, 2019, Jim continued his role as Vice President of SCFF West until October 2021 when Jim expanded his role in development from Western PA relationships to make connections statewide and beyond.
